We also observed p53 stabilization, which is most likely an indication of the presence of mutated p53, in a high proportion of tumours (9 of 11 Ssb1−/− tumours and 2 of 2 Ssb1+/− tumours) when compared with adjacent normal tissue from the same mice (Figure S13 and Figure S14).
