In HIV-1-infected lymphoid tissues treated with IL-7 25 ng/mL Bcl-2 expression in uninfected CD4+ (CD8− p24gag−) T cells was increased on average 2.5±0.2 fold and 2.7±0.1 fold on day 6 and 9 post infection, respectively, for HIV-1LAI.04 (n = 8, p<0.0001), and 2.6±0.1 fold and 3.0±0.1 fold on day 6 and 9 post infection, respectively, for HIV-1BaL (n = 6, p<0.0001).
