Previous studies have shown that LASS2 gene plays a key role in carcinomas of the prostate (15,16), liver (17) and breast (18).Chen et al(17) observed that transfection of LASS2 by lipofectamine inhibited the invasion and metastasis of a highly metastatic liver cancer cell line, HCCLM3. Here, CERS2 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
