Diagnosis of incomplete Kawasaki disease was posed on the basis of the presence of fever persisting at least 5 days, associated to 2 classic diagnostic criteria (polymorphous exanthem and aseptic conjunctival injection), increased levels of ESR and CRP with 4 supplemental laboratory criteria (hypoalbuminemia, anemia, leucocytosis and leucocyturia). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is anemia (phenotype).
