Of the top 10 ranked upregulated genes, 2 have not been previously reported as associated with cervical cancer (NUSAP1, and CDKN3), while the other 8 have been associated with cervical cancer either scantly (SYCP2, PRC1, CCNB2 and CDC20) or widely (MKI67, CDKN2A, CDC2, and PCNA). Here, CDKN2A is linked to cervical cancer.
