Recently, it has been demonstrated that ubiquitination and the degradation of RelA subunit by COMMD1-containing ubiquitin ligase is a critical mechanism of regulation of the antiapoptotic activity of NF-κB and this event has considerable relevance to cancer prevention and therapy, as well as the postinduction regulation of RelA/NF-κB [7, 35].
