Furthermore, expression analysis of 90 primary human medulloblastomas revealed that components of the miR-17-92 polycistron are greatly up-regulated miRNAs in the most common malignant pediatric brain tumor, which is medulloblastoma, and miR-17-92 expression correlates with high levels of MYC family proto-oncogenes.
