We found that silencing of CTGF in the U251 cells decreased the expression and phosphorylation of FAK and the expression of SPARC (Figure 6A), two proteins that are strongly involved in the promotion of glioma cell migration [41], [42], but did not affect the phosphorylation and expression of AKT and Erk1/2.
