In our study, we analyzed serum VEGF-C levels in a large number of ovarian cancer samples using ELISA method and focusing on different subtypes, serous-papillary adenocarcinoma, mucinous adenocarcinoma, endometroid tumor, clear cell ovarian tumor and others, which differ substantially in a number of genetic, biological, pathological and clinical features. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFC and papillary serous cystadenocarcinoma.
