Moreover, the modest cross-sectional correlations of MCP-1 with SJC, TJC, and DAS28 (Table 2), the strong longitudinal correlations between DAS-MCP-1 and DAS28 during the 6-month period (Figure 1), and the strong cross-sectional correlation between DAS28-MCP-1 and DAS28-CRP suggest that MCP-1 could be used as a biomarker for RA patients in the future.
