In the 226 patients whose survival data were available from the GSE14333 colon cancer patient cohort, a high level of TAZ mRNA expression was significantly correlated with a shorter survival (high level: mean survival = 72.3 months, 95% Confidence Interval (CI) = 63–81 months; low level: mean survival = 129 months, 95% CI = 121–136 months, p<0.001; Figure 2A). The gene discussed is WWTR1; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
