IFNA1 and Rotavirus infection: Limited studies on the role of TLRs during rotavirus infection in the mouse model of infection have noted that MyD88 (mediating TLR7, 8 activation), TRIF (TLR3), or TLR3 are not required for IFN induction in intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) or myeloid DCs (mDCs) following infection with either RRV or murine rotavirus [17], [22].
