To rule out a possible influence of T cells in the spleen of the TB+fo+se mice on activation of anti-tumor activity, CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in splenocytes were subjected to depletion by magnetic activated cell sorting, whereby the TB mice with depletion of the T-cell subset and with treatment of fish oil and selenium yeast (TB+fo+se) indeed presented stronger anti-tumor activity (*P<0.05, Fig. 4B). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is tuberculosis.
