Interestingly a stronger statistical association was observed in case of Id3 with prostate cancer as compared with Id1: the difference between Id3 expression in normal versus grade II was more significant in post hoc Dunn's multiple comparison test (***P < 0.001, Fig. 2H) as compared with Id1 (*P < 0.05, Fig. 1H). The gene discussed is ID1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
