We therefore compared the intratumoral [F-18]-FMISO distribution with Glut-1 and Ki-67 expression and with [C-14]2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose ([C-14]-FDG) distribution in a rat glioma model, in order to gain insight into the biological characteristics of intratumoral [F-18]-FMISO distribution that is relevant to radiotherapy planning. Here, SLC2A1 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
