Recently, Yarney et al. examined the clinicopathologic features of prostate cancer patients referred to KBTH during 2003–2007, and showed that the majority of 170 patients referred for radiotherapy at KBTH presented with initial PSA >20 ng/ml (73%), Gleason score >7 (56%) and were symptomatic at disease presentation (76%) [19]. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and prostate cancer.
