The overall survival rate of patients with high or moderate NDRG2 expression was significantly better than those with none or weak NDRG2 expression, and low expression levels of NDRG2 associated with depth of invasion (≥pT3), distant organ metastasis (pM1), regional lymph node metastasis (≥pN1), and vascular invasion (Yes) were independent of each other, poor prognostic factors of lung cancer patients. This evidence concerns the gene NDRG2 and lung carcinoma.
