Acupuncture can systematically regulate this inflammatory signaling pathway at different levels through the regulation of several key nodal proteins, including CC10, S100A8, S100A9, RAGE, sRAGE, and RhoGDI2 (Figure 7), which may explain, at least in part, the anti-inflammatory effect of acupuncture in asthma.
