Emerging evidences have shown that DVLs are able to up-regulate β-catenin and promote cell growth in colorectal cancer [30], malignant pleural mesothelioma [31] and non-small-cell lung cancer [32] etc. We thus examined the expression pattern of DVLs (DVL1, DVL2 and DVL3) in cervical cancer cell lines by western blot analysis. This evidence concerns the gene DVL1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
