In the univariate analysis, we observed that the high EZH2 expression in tumor tissue relative to matched adjacent normal lung tissue (high EZH2-fold change) was strongly associated with overall survival, disease-free survival, and disease-specific survival of patients with NSCLC (hazard ratio  = 0.477, 0.414, 0.468 and P = 0.006, 0.002, 0.004 respectively, Table 2). The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
