Mlf1 (myeloid leukemia factor 1) is associated with myeloid leukemia; Mlf1 is fused to nucleophosmin (Npm1) in 1% of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cases [91] and is overexpressed in 25% of cases of AML associated with myelodysplastic syndrome [92].
