When analyzing the levels of CXCL14 expression in colorectal carcinoma tissues by immunohistochemistry, we found an interesting phenomenon that the number of CXCL14-immunopositive carcinoma cells increased as carcinoma cells invaded deeply and the tumor regions that were more close to the invasion front showed stronger CXCL14 immunoreactivity. Here, CXCL14 is linked to neoplasm.
