In the PREVEND cohort study, the multivariable-adjusted ORs (95%CI) for the risk of diabetes were 1.22 (1.09–1.38), 1.29 (1.11–1.50), 1.16 (0.89–1.50) and 0.31 (0.87–1.05) per 100% increase of concentrations of GGT, ALT, AST and albumin, respectively.
