Most of the tumors were histologically pleomorphic, and each of the 10 tumors have been alternately and preliminarily classified as MPNSTs or glioblastomas on the basis of criteria such as anatomic location, histopathology (Figure 1), and a panel of histochemical and immunohistochemical stains, including reticulin stain, glial fibrillary acidic protein, vimentin, pancytokeratin, neuron-specific nuclear protein, Olig2, synaptophysin, and laminin.
