VEGF-C expression was found in the cytoplasm of transitional carcinoma cells and was associated with lymph node metastasis in bladder cancer [23]–[24] and also has been found to correlate with clinical parameters like tumor size, pathological T stage, pathological grade, lymphatic-venous involvement, and pelvic lymph node metastasis in bladder cancer patients [23]. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFC and urinary bladder carcinoma.
