The expression of a typical dot plot of circulating Th22 (CD4+IL-22+IL-17−IFNγ−) cells in representative MDS patients and healthy controls (HC) is shown in Fig. 1 H, I, J. Compared with HC, the percentage of peripheral Th22 cells was significantly increased in MDS patients (0.71±0.17% vs. 1.55±0.74%, P<0.0001). Here, CD4 is linked to myelodysplastic syndrome.
