Further studies showed that PHGDH interacts with N-terminal of FOXM1, stabilized FOXM1 from ubiqutintion induced protesome degradation in glioma cells, suggesting that PHGDH may be a regulator of FOXM1, and that PHGDH has additional biological functions in addition to those as a metabolic enzyme.
