So far, many studies have demonstrated stathmin to be overexpressed in many human cancers, including mesothelioma tumor (11), malignant pheochromocytomas (23,24), cervical carcinoma (25), primary nasopharyngeal carcinoma (26), gastric cancer (27), hepatocellular carcinoma (28,29), medulloblastoma (30), endometrial cancer (18) and urothelial carcinoma (31). Here, STMN1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
