A population of CD3+CD4+IL-17+ cells was identified as Th17 cells in either ITP group (Fig. 1B), which was significantly larger than that in normal controls (NC vs OB: (1.08±0.59)% vs (1.74±0.79)%, p = 0.016; NC vs RT: (1.08±0.59)% vs (2.19±1.10)%, p = 0.001; Fig. 1D). The gene discussed is IL17A; the disease is autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura.
