Those observations suggests CGRP(+) neurons account for the relative resistance of CGRP(+) neurons to RTX treatment than SP(+) neurons [26] and provide the possibility of reinnervation by CGRP(+) IENFs after RTX-induced neuropathy [27], i.e., the reinnervation in the late phase may result from the remaining CGRP(+) neurons with their CGRP(+) IENFs.
