Mycoses, in particular cryptococcal meningitis (2.4%), were reported in CLL patients.6 Some reports showed sporadical cases of Candida and Aspergillus infections, which may be related to therapies resulting in more prolonged periods of neutropenia, in patients with advanced disease and/or CD4+ < 200/mL.
