There are three known human isoforms, NRAS, HRAS, and KRAS. Over 90% of pancreatic adenocarcinomas [1], 30%–50% of colorectal cancers [2–4], 55% of thyroid cancers [5], 35% of lung cancers [5], and 35% of rhabdomyosarcomas [6] harbor mutated RAS genes. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and colorectal cancer.
