ALB and polycystic ovary syndrome: The results showed that all of the four PCOS phenotypes had higher levels of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), LDL, fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids and an unidentified sugar (δ 3.74 ppm), but had lower levels of phosphatidylcholine and lysyl-albumin as compared with the control group, respectively, which indicated the aberrance of lipid metabolism in PCOS.
