Driver KE and colleagues examined 3 tag SNPs of CCNE1 (rs997669, rs3218036 and rs3218076) in 4470 cases and 4560 controls from British population, and found that rs997669 in CCNE1 was associated with BC risk (OR = 1.18, 95% CI = 1.04–1.34, P = 0.003) [25]. The gene discussed is CCNE1; the disease is breast cancer.
