It is generally accepted that IFN-γ and TGF-β are involved in the pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps [23], and our results indicated that the transcripts of the two genes with the shorter 3′UTRs might impact the IFN-γ and TGF-β signaling pathways. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and Nasal polyposis.
