Patients with more advanced CKD had lower hemoglobin (ρ = −0.40; p<0.001), albumin (ρ = −0.35; p<0.001), and calcium (ρ = −0.25; p<0.001) serum concentration while phosphorus levels were directly correlated with the severity of renal disease (ρ = 0.45; p<0.001). Here, ALB is linked to chronic kidney disease.
