This study did, however, identify significant or borderline association for the four other LTB4R polymorphisms tested: rs2748543 and rs3181384 (both in strong LD) with cardioembolic stroke in a UK cohort and rs1950505 and rs3742510 (also both in strong LD) with cardioembolic stroke in a German cohort[21]. Here, LTB4R is linked to cardioembolic stroke.
