The sensitivity of serum anti-IGFBP-2 antibodies in the detection of lung cancer was higher (73.2%) than that of CEA (45.9%), CYFRA21-1 (65.3%), or NSE (50%), (P<0.001, P=0.166 and P<0.001, respectively) although the differences were not significant (P<0.001, P=0.166 and P<0.001, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene IGFBP2 and lung carcinoma.
