The tumor cohort examined in our study included a different number of HER2-positive (14.5%) and probably triple-negative breast cancers compared with the cohorts utilized in some of the recent studies that examined large number of samples with well-validated antibodies (HER2-positive, Honma et al. 2008: 5.25% and Novelli et al. 2008: 31.9%) [24,25,44,45]. Here, ERBB2 is linked to triple-negative breast carcinoma.
