Our in vivo experiments demonstrated that SLA-CpG-DC vaccination could significantly restrict parasite growth in spleen and liver after 28 days of infection (Figure 2 A–B), and this protective immunity is abrogated with anti- CXCL10 mAbs resulting in the reappearance of high hepatic and splenic parasitic growth in the immunized animals (Figure 3).
