In conclusion, we have demonstrated that CKT0103, a novel compound from a family of aryl ureas, counteracted the pro-inflammatory activity of LPS by modulating the TLR4/NF-κB pathway in two in vitro LPS-induced airway epithelial cell injury models based on the first steps of the development of sepsis/ALI. Here, NFKB1 is linked to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
