The activating somatic mutation Y641 of EZH2 leads to high H3K27 trimethylation in lymphomas[28,29], and high levels of H3K27me3 consequent to EZH2 hyperactivity have been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma[30,31]. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
