Therefore, we examined the urotensin-II immunoreactivity in renal biopsy specimens of children with several renal diseases, including membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN), membranous nephropathy (MGN), IgA nephropathy (IgAN), Henoch-Schönlein nephritis (HSN), and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) [21, 32]. The gene discussed is UTS2; the disease is focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.
