The finding of correlation between tracer uptake of 64Cu-NODAGA-c(RGDyK) and mRNA levels of mouse Integrin αV, Integrin β3, and VEGF-A two hours post injection indicates that 64Cu-NODAGA-c(RGDyK) is indeed targeting the tumor-angiogenesis and therefore is a promising radiotracer for PET imaging and quantification of angiogenesis. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and neoplasm.
