While the present study focused specifically on the NADPH oxidase/ROS system that involves a relatively few genes (or gene sets), the listing of signaling pathways defined by KEGG indicate that hyperoxaluria per se and blocking of NADPH oxidase assembly by Apocynin activates a myriad of similar and dissimilar biological processes that reveals a high level of complexity. Here, FMO5 is linked to Hyperoxaluria.
