HLA-B and hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome: The alleles HLA-B*46, HLA-B*51 and haplotype HLA-B*51-DRB1*09 increased strongly in frequency with the likelihood to contribute to the occurrence of HFRS when compared with the control group, whereas the frequency of HLA-DRB1*12 was lower in HFRS than the control, suggesting the role played by resistance from the onset of HFRS.
