CRP and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome: Thus, although some of the patients investigated in the present study were obese and had higher CRP levels than controls, their results with respect to Bax/Mcl-1 ratio and the lack of Bax translocation to the mitochondria were identical to the results obtained in non-obese OSA patients with low CRP levels and like in the IH in-vitro, and unlike the normoxic controls’ findings.
