The concentrations of cytokines like IL-12 (naïve 28.7±5.4, early 3.7±0.2, advanced 1.5±0.2 pg/ml, p = 0.001, one-way ANOVA), TNF-α (naïve 14.7±1.9, early 7.2±0.6, advanced 3.2±0.5 pg/ml, p = 0.001, one-way ANOVA), and IFN-γ (naïve 10.9±0.9, early 2.9±0.6, advanced 0.7±0.3 pg/ml, p<0.001, one-way ANOVA) decreased gradually as the tumor burden increased (Figs. 3D1–3D3).
