BMI1 and gastric carcinoma: Aberrant Bmi-1 expression has been associated with many solid and hematologic malignancies, including mantle cell lymphoma[15], Hodgkin lymphoma[16], B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma[17], gastric carcinoma[18], hepatocellular carcinoma[19], colorectal cancer[20,21], breast cancer[22,23], bladder cancer[24], nasopharyngeal carcinoma[25], oral squamous cell carcinoma[26] and non-small cell lung cancer[27].
