Increased expression of CDK6 in other primary tumors such as in squamous cell carcinoma [44,45], basal cell carcinoma [46], medulloblastoma, and B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder [47] have been reported in which increased CDK6 expression has been correlated with induced cell proliferation and malignant transformation coupled with cyclins. This evidence concerns the gene CDK6 and basal cell carcinoma.
